A Message From The Deputy Principal Academics

Ikutha Technical and Vocational College is a Public TVET Institute registered and licensed by TVET to offer various courses at Levels 3, 4, 5 and 6. The institution is a center of excellence in Refrigeration and Air conditioning and boasts of modern, state of the art equipment for training Refrigeration and Air Conditioning at various levels.

Our programs are quite competitive and have been crafted to accommodate industrial needs and technological advancements in line with the rapidly evolving job market. The programs we offer are examined by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC), National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) as well Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB). However, the college is progressively moving towards Competence Based Education and Training (CBET) examined by Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) and TVET-CDACC.

Our workforce is diversified encompassing both young, vibrant trainers and technicians in addition to experienced trainers who have both the pedagogical and industrial experience to impart invaluable hands-on knowledge to the trainees.
